An Omaha native, Ellis received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1978. He practiced in Oshkosh, WI for five years before joining Mobile Animal Clinic. His special interests include internal medicine, cardiology and endoscopy. He has studied Canine Cough Complex extensively and continues to conduct research on the relevance of mycoplasma in Canine Cough Complex as it relates to “Kennel Cough”.
Married and the father of three grown sons, his seven granddaughters put a twinkle in his eye. One or two “Weimers” have always been in the Jensen family. An avid fisherman of Northern Minnesota, he and his family have spent many vacations trying to catch the “big one” that got away.
